Austin First Mortgage never sells customer information to any marketing company or third party business, period.  Some borrowers have indicated that they receive a lot of marketing letters after their loan closes, and in some cases those letters looks like they are affiliated with lenders; many are life insurance companies.

Note that marketing companies do not buy information from mortgage companies but rather generally glean their data from publicly available information.

After any residential real estate transaction closes, the data is made public as both the Warranty Deed and Deed of Trust are recorded in the county public document system, and anyone can access that information for free. Some web sites such as Zillow and Redfin may also disclose real estate sales information.
